The Surrey Urban Indigenous Leadership Committee is seeking expressions of interest from an individual or team to produce a short video series documenting Indigenous experiences with housing in Surrey B.C. The video series will be used by SUILC as it advocates for more urban Indigenous housing options in Surrey. SUILC will organize the specific individuals/stories to be profiled in the videos.
SUILC is seeking an individual or team that can:
- Work with SUILC to co-create the overall look, feel, and narrative arc of the video series;
- Work on location in Surrey to document at least five personal stories about housing experiences;
- Do the videography using your own equipment;
- Edit the videos using your own equipment/software; and,
- Deliver the final product before March 31st, 2021.
Indigenous videographers or experience working with Indigenous people will be considered an asset.
This project will be awarded to the successful individual/team as a contract for services. The total value of the contract will be $10,000. No additional fees or expenses will be added to the contract value.

In the body of the email, provide information indicating why you are interested in this project and outline your qualifications. Please attach any examples of similar projects or deliverables you have completed in the past.
